Luxury Travel to Asia

Explore Asia

A Continent Best Taken Slowly

Asia is the easiest place in the world to over-plan. The temptation is to string five countries together on a two-week map, and the reality is long transfers, jet lag and a blur of temples that start to look the same. The trips people remember are the ones that slow down: one country, or two done well, with room to breathe.

We plan these journeys through a trusted network of guides and operators across the region, then handle the parts that quietly go wrong on your own, the internal flights, the right hotel in the right neighborhood, the guide who is worth the day. Fewer places, longer stays, and the logistics taken off your hands.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to visit Asia?+

It varies widely by country. Japan is at its best in spring for the cherry blossom and autumn for the color. Southeast Asia is largely a November-to-March trip, avoiding the heaviest monsoon rains. India's classic season is October to March. Because the region spans so many climates, timing your particular route is worth getting right, and it is one of the first things we would talk through.

How many countries should I try to see?+

Fewer than the map suggests. Distances are long and connections often route through a hub, so every added country costs real travel days. In two weeks we would rather give you Japan properly, or Vietnam and Cambodia together, than rush a grand tour that leaves you exhausted.

Is Asia good for a first-time, long-haul trip?+

Very, with the right planning. The trick is a sensible pace, well-chosen hotels and guides who make the culture legible rather than overwhelming. Japan in particular is one of the smoothest, safest and most rewarding places for a first big trip east.

How far ahead should I book?+

Nine to twelve months for Japan in cherry-blossom season and for the smaller luxury properties anywhere in the region, which fill early. Elsewhere, four to six months gives good choice. If you have dates in mind, tell us now, even if nothing else is decided.
