Something I`ve been working on close to my heart is finally ready to share. 🇲🇼
April 2–9 of 2027, I`m designing the first humanitarian trip to Malawi in partnership with Melissa "Missy" Herek of the Hearts for Hope Foundation. Missy is an educator with more than 30 years of experience, founder of Hearts for Hope Foundation, and leader of international mission work in Malawi and South Africa for the past two decades.
Her work focuses on bringing hope through clean water initiatives, feeding programs, and educational support, while also providing essential resources such as food, clothing, and shelter to those in need. The trusted relationships she has built over many years with local communities are what make this unique experience possible.
This journey offers the opportunity to experience the beauty of Malawi, connect with its incredible people, and participate in meaningful service that creates a lasting impact. Every traveler helps support the ongoing work of Hearts for Hope Foundation, with $250 from each registration directly benefiting projects in Malawi. In addition, Andrew Burns Travel Co. will donate 1% of the trip proceeds to support the same mission.

Two weeks of Rome, the Amalfi Coast, and Ravello for Susan, Lauren, and Rita, and getting to plan every stop of it was a joy.
They started in Rome at @maisonroma_piazzadispagna , steps from the Spanish Steps, then made their way south to @piccolosantandreapraiano in Praiano for seven nights of Capri, sunset sails, and lazy days by the sea. From there, three nights closed out the trip at @belmondhotelcaruso in Ravello, with a full day on the Path of Lemons before one last night back in Rome.
